Antonio Fresneda opened his orthopaedic shop in Xirivella in 1989. It started as exactly what it was: a small shop, on the same avenue, where people from the neighbourhood dropped in to ask. Three decades later people still drop in to ask, only now they come from the surrounding towns too.
His way of working has not changed. Take as long as it takes, understand what is going on before suggesting anything, and stay with the person until they move comfortably again. Listen first and give the right solution, not the easiest one to sell.
We are still a family business. The care is the same as ever; what has changed are the measuring tools and the materials, which now allow far finer adjustment than back in '89.

No rushWe listen before we measure anything. When it hurts, what shoes you wear, what you do all day. Half the answer is usually right there.

Your treatment turns out better when everyone pulls the same way. We work daily alongside doctors, physiotherapists and podiatrists: we read the prescription, look for the solution that fits, adapt it with you and follow up.
And if you bring nothing? That works too. We will point you in the right direction and, when the case calls for a medical opinion, we say so instead of selling you an insole.

- We interpret it and handle the rest, paperwork included where there is any.
- If you do not
- Come anyway. We assess you, explain what we see and tell you what to ask your doctor or podiatrist for: custom insoles and prescribed orthoses need one.
- Afterwards
- Review and adjustments. Nobody takes an orthosis home without trying it here first.
